Soundtracks

The thing about soundtracks is that it acts as support for the message that the movie was trying to convey. It sort of plays with your emotions a little bit, and appeals to you – like how every other song does, but it is used in a movie to capture something specific.

I feel really special every time I discover new soundtracks – even if I’m not the first one ever to do so, it’s just a personal thing for me. The feeling I get when I discover something for myself, and I get a little selfish about it at times.

So, I’ve just finished watching Stuck In Love. I really liked the soundtrack.

By the way, I would like to thank Keilah for letting me know that the soundtrack was good beforehand. However, I watched the movie first so that I would get to experience myself how good the soundtrack was. And it is freakin’ awesome.

Yes, on to the soundtrack then.

The first song I really liked was when Logan Lerman and Lilly Collins were in the car sharing their favorites with each other – and out comes this song by Elliot Smith titled Between The Bars.

Then we have, Will You Be By Me by Wallpaper Airplanes

There you go. It’s a pretty good movie as well. It was honest, interesting, and I don’t know. I don’t think I’m even capable of finding more words to describe it. Enjoy!
